in order to maintain the school’s exceptional diversity, and make their
education
sustainable for the long term.

The candidate selection process for KET support has been approved by the UK Charity Commission and involves diligence checks by the School Board, Trustees and a suitably-qualified 3rd-party referee for each applicant. For reasons of privacy protection, contact with any sponsored child will be subject to Trust conditions, regulated through the school.

This Fund supports Kivukoni's programme of educational projects conceived for wider community benefit, drawing on the school's own experience and expertise, working collaboratively with local schools, research institutions, NGOs, and other community bodies, eg. 2022 'Coral Gardening' Project, organised with the Oceans Alive Trust.
These include Teacher Training courses to help improve national standards as well as workshops in Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Special Needs and Values-Based Education, Creative Arts: all important subjects for study & student development that are unavailable to other schools.
The selection process for KET Community Project support has been approved by the UK Charity Commission and involves a comprehensive application process including submission of detailed budgets, cost/benefit analysis, progress & delivery reports.
